DR vs. CR: Digital Radiography vs. Computed Radiography
DR vs. CR: Digital Radiography vs. Computed RadiographyDR vs. CR: Digital Radiography vs. Computed Radiography

Diagnostic Imaging Systems, the leader in Veterinary Digital Imaging Systems sales and service, is now offering the New Digital Imaging "Navigator" System, the best digital imaging system available with the Security of Investment you deserve, 25 year Proven Technology. Superior all around image quality, over the widest range of anatomical regions, 5.Lp/mm from tooth to toe. Best value, complete CR Systems starting at $19,995.

The "Navigator" Digital Imaging System utilizes the most popular secure CR digital technology. It is 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of any ordinary DR flat panel system, It is the least complicated and least expensive to service and repair. Replacement plates cost around $500.00 instead of up to $30K for a DR plate. It has very high resolution, from to 5-10 LP/mm. Because there are no plate or electronics’ electrical cable connections the animal cable entanglements and kicking worries are gone.

There are no temperature limitation or variation problems. Its lightweight cassette/ plate system like film screen cassettes allows conventional positioned use and it is shock and drop resistant. Because it is so versatile it is the only system to accommodate any size plate from intra oral dental to 10"x12"or 14"x17". DR systems will only allow one Doctor at a time to use there system, our CR Digital Navigator System will accommodate as many vets as have plates to share the System. There are no special x-ray unit hook-up requirements; this means that it can be used with any x-ray unit or system without any electrical connection or
modifications.

CR High resolution up to 5 - 10 LP/mm
3. DR Cable surrounding the horse, irritation, trip animal
CR NObles around animal
4. DR Difficult to use with conventional radiology cassette positioning devices
CR Easy to Use with cassette petitioners
